Residence of the Makepe Bell Air neighbourhood at the Douala 5 sub division in the Littoral Region of Cameroon wakeup on Monday 7th of October in an immense state of shock as 58 year old Kenfak Marie Madelen was found lying in a pool of her own blood, she was fatally stabbed by her own son.
According to eye witnesses in the neighborhood, Mrs Kenfack was just getting up from bed that morning her son Carel pounce on her for reasons not yet known till now, stabbing her on the neck and on the back. Despite efforts by his elder sister to stop him, the act was done already and their mother could not survive looking at the gravity of the wounds inflicted on her.
The boy’s elder sister then alerted the neighbors who tried to apprehend him but he escaped, though not for a long time as he was latter caught by the forces of law and order. But still then, the reasons for his act were not known yet. People are suspecting that he might have been under the influence of some narcotic substances or he might have been possessed by evil spirits. Hopefully that he confesses when he gets to the police.
