After a short visit in the English boxing ring which did not work out very well for him, Francis Ngannou made a remarkable comeback in the Mix Marshal Art, MMA cage last Saturday 19thOctober in Ryhadh Soudi Arabia, where he swiftly won his battle against the Brazilian born Renan Ferreira in the first round by Knock Out, KO.
In less than 4 minutes into the 1st round, 38 year old Batie born smashed 2.03m tall Renan Ferreira on the grown in the fight named “Battle of the Giants” and followed with a series of blow at the back of his neck forcing the referee to end the fight. In his victory as the confirmed Heavy weight World champion of the MMA, Ngannou so moved burst into tears as he regurgitated memories of Kobe, his 15 months old son who passed away in the month of April. “I dedicate this victory to Kobe” the Predator said as he spread the Cameroon flag above his shoulders with his new achieved Professional Fighters League,PFL belt sparkling on his waist.
Ferreira who is kwon for his power of KO distribution to his opponents assure his fan who were very worried seeing the way Francis Ngannou crushed him down. “Hi guys, this is Rena Problema, a little down. Yesterday was a bad day at work but am very happy for our commitment, and for all we have done” he said laughing in a video sent to his fans.
As for the Predator, he said he is ready for the next fight against John Jones who is another uncontested MMA heavy weight champion. “If there is a fight I will really wish to have, it is that one.” Ngannou said to the press at post match interview.
